This is the Farmhouse in Clynnog Fawr. It's a double-fronted place, so there's a lot of room inside. It sleeps nine, which sounds like a lot, but it's across three bedrooms and there's a double sofa bed in the study area. So think three proper bedrooms and then that extra space. There's one bathroom.
It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well-equipped, not pristine or ultra-modern. The staircase is original and quite steep, like most farmhouses.
The best thing is the view. Every bedroom looks out to sea, nothing in the way. The living room has an open fire and the same view. The kitchen is big, with doors into a dining conservatory. That's got a wood burner too.
You're about 200 yards from a beach. It's pebbly. For a sandy beach, Dinas Dinlle is a short drive down the coast. The famous Ty Coch Inn at Porthdinllaen is about a 20-minute drive.
The location is good for getting around. You're right on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park. Caernarfon Castle is 15 minutes away. Porthmadog, with the Welsh Highland Railway, is about half an hour. Glasfryn Park, which has go-karting and other activities, is also within 30 minutes.
Facilities: It's got pretty much everything. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, an enclosed garden with a BBQ and a kids' play area. Parking for a couple of cars right there. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot, highchair, and stairgate. You can bring up to two dogs.
