It's the Farmhouse in Clynnog fawr, up near Caernarfon. Sleeps nine, which makes it good for a big family or a few friends. There are three bedrooms off the hall upstairs, and just the one bathroom. You can bring two dogs.
It's a four-star place, so it's comfortable and looked after. The thing you'll notice first is the space. It's a big, double-fronted house. You get a living room with an open fire and a view of the sea. The kitchen is large and leads into a dining conservatory with a wood burner. There's also a study area downstairs with a double sofa bed if you need it.
All three main bedrooms look out to the sea. So everyone gets the same view, which solves that argument.
Outside, there's an enclosed garden with a patio and a barbecue. Parking for a couple of cars right there. Inside, it's got what you'd expect: wifi, washing machine, dishwasher. We provide the bedding and towels. There's a cot, highchair, and a stairgate if you're bringing little ones.
The coast path is right there. You can walk to the beach in a few minutes. Dinas Dinlle, which has a Blue Flag, is a short drive down the road. For a good pub right on the sand, the Ty Coch Inn at Porthdinllaen is about 25 minutes away by car.
You're in a good spot for getting around. Caernarfon Castle is 15 minutes away. For the railway, Porthmadog and the Welsh Highland Railway is about half an hour. Snowdonia National Park is on your doorstep. The Glasfryn Park activity centre, with go-karts and so on, is about 20 minutes drive.
