Eithinog Ganol

Eithinog Ganol is a four-bedroom farmhouse near Penygroes. It sleeps eight, has two bathrooms. It's on its own track through the fields, so it's quiet. You can see Snowdonia out the back and over to Anglesey from the front. On a very clear day, you might see the Irish Sea ferry.

It's got a 5 Star rating. It's been renovated but it's still an old farmhouse. The floors aren't all level and the doors are a bit low in places. There's a wood burner, a hot tub, and an enclosed garden. It's detached, so no one's next door.

You're about four and a half miles from the coast. Dinas Dinlle is the nearest beach. The shop is a mile and a half away. The nearest pub is about three miles, in Llanwnda.

Caernarfon is a fifteen minute drive. The castle is there, and shops. The Welsh Highland Railway station is there too, for steam trains into the mountains.

For walking, you're right on the edge of Snowdonia. You can drive into the park in under twenty minutes. The Llyn Peninsula beaches, like Aberdesach or Porthor, are about thirty minutes by car.

Facilities: there's wifi, a TV, a dishwasher and washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. Parking for a few cars. One well-behaved dog is welcome. We have a cot and a highchair.
