Cerrig Sais
Cerrig Sais is near Caernarfon. It’s a bungalow, so everything’s on one floor, which is good for anyone who doesn’t like stairs. You get views out over Anglesey, and you can see the castle from here.
It sleeps eight, in four bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, one with a shower. It’s got a 5 Star rating, which means it’s well-equipped and finished nicely.
The thing to know is it’s up a private track. It’s a proper quiet spot. You are a bit out on your own. If you want a pint of milk, the shop is about two and a half miles away.
Caernarfon is about three and a half miles down the road. You’ve got shops there, places to eat, and obviously the castle. It’s a Caernarfon Castle site and worth a visit.
The coast is five miles away. Good beaches around, like Dinas Dinlle. If you want to head onto the island, the Plas Newydd House is about half an hour’s drive.
It’s a good base for walking. Snowdonia is on your doorstep. The Snowdonia National Park site has walking routes and plans.
For facilities: it’s got a garden, parking, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There’s a cot and highchair if you need them. No pets.
