Is Helen Cottage
Is Helen Cottage is a farmhouse near Caernarfon. It's detached and you've got your own garden, which is enclosed. The garden looks out over the fields of the farm.
It sleeps four. There are three bedrooms but one is quite small with bunk beds, so it's good for kids. One bathroom with a shower. It's a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped. You're welcome to bring up to two dogs.
The cottage is on our working farm. You can walk around the fields and see the animals. We have a small caravan park next to it, but the cottage is separate and has its own space.
You're about a ten minute walk from the Menai Strait. It's good for a stroll. The beach at nearby Dinas Dinlle is a proper sandy beach, about a ten minute drive.
Caernarfon is two miles away. You've got the castle there, obviously. There's a leisure centre with a pool, shops, and places to eat. The Welsh Highland Railway starts there, which goes into Snowdonia. The station is about a mile and a half from the cottage.
For things to do, there's an 18-hole golf course right next to the farm. The national water sports centre is two miles away if you're into that. Anglesey is over the bridge, about fifteen minutes in the car. The Llyn Peninsula is maybe twenty minutes.
Facilities: it's got a woodburning stove for cooler evenings, a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi and TV. Bedding is included. There's parking right outside. We can provide a cot and highchair.
