Tanpencefn Mawr is out past Brynsiencyn village on Anglesey. It's a semi-detached farm cottage on a smallholding. So, it's proper countryside. You'll see sheep out the window.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, which is accurate. It's comfortable and clean but not luxurious. The stairs are open and spiral. They are quite narrow and steep, like in some old places. Just take care on them.
You can walk to the Anglesey Sea Zoo from here. It's good for a wet day. Foel Farm Park is the other way, also walkable. Kids like it for feeding the animals.
The garden at the back is enclosed. It's a nice spot if the sun's out. There's a barbecue and you've got a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog.
For a beach, you want Newborough. It's about a ten minute drive. The sand is great and you can walk out to Llanddwyn Island. The forest is there too. For walks and history, Plas Newydd is very close. It's a National Trust house with gardens.
There's a shop and a pub in the village, about a mile and a half away. The Menai Bridge has more places to eat if you drive.
