Tanpencefn Mawr

Tanpencefn Mawr is a semi-detached farm cottage on our smallholding just outside Brynsiencyn. It's in the countryside, so it's quiet. You can see fields from the windows.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, which means it's clean and comfortable but not luxurious. Everything works. The shower is electric.

You get the garden to yourselves. It's enclosed, which is good if you have a dog or kids. There's a BBQ and space to store bikes. Parking is right outside.

The village has a shop and a pub about a mile and a half away. You can walk to a couple of places from the cottage though. The Anglesey Sea Zoo is close, and so is Foel Farm Park if you have children. Plas Newydd, the National Trust house, is just down the road. It's a nice walk through the grounds to the water's edge.

In about ten minutes by car you can get to Newborough Forest. You can walk through the pines to a huge sandy beach. At low tide you can walk out to Llanddwyn Island. It's a really special place.

Menai Bridge is about a ten minute drive for more shops and places to eat. The mainland and Caernarfon are over the bridge, maybe twenty minutes. Beaumaris is the other direction, along the coast.

We include bedding and towels. There's a washing machine. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
