The Cottage Gallt Y Balch
The Cottage Gallt Y Balch is a bungalow on our farm. It looks out over the Malltraeth estuary. You get good views of the water and the mountains from the garden.
It's a detached bungalow. It sleeps four in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom with a shower cubicle. It's got a 3 Star rating, which is fine. It's clean and it works.
The garden is enclosed. There's a patio area and a barbecue. You can hear sheep sometimes because it's a working farm.
There's a pub about half a mile up the road. The village shop is a mile away. The beach at Newborough is about two miles. It's a long sandy beach. There's also a forest there.
We're near the coast path for walking. Bodorgan Estate is nearby if you like fishing. For a day out, Beaumaris is about sixteen miles. They have the castle there. Caernarfon Castle is a bit further, maybe forty minutes by car.
If you're planning trips, these sites are useful: Visit Anglesey and National Trust Wales. The Snowdonia National Park site has walking routes and weather.
In terms of what's here: kitchen's open plan, parking right outside, washing machine, TV, bedding included. There's a cot if you need it. We can take up to two dogs.
