Lodge Five

Lodge Five is in Rhostrehwfa, Anglesey. It's one of a small group of detached lodges, very private, set back from the road.

It's rated 5 Star, which basically means everything is new and well finished. The kitchen is handmade. The furniture is good quality. It's comfortable.

It sleeps four, but it's one open-plan bedroom with a double bed and two singles in the same space. So it's fine for a family, but two couples might find it a bit close. One bathroom with a shower.

You have a deck with seating. It's quiet out there. There's parking next to the lodge, and an electric vehicle charger.

There's a local pub about a mile away, the White Eagle in Rhosgoch. It does food. For shops, Llangefni is the nearest town. It's about four miles. They've got supermarkets and a few other bits.

The coast is a short drive. Red Wharf Bay is about fifteen minutes. Newborough Beach and forest is maybe twenty-five minutes. That's a really good one for a walk, through the trees and out onto the sand. You can walk out to Llanddwyn Island from there at low tide.

If you're into walking or history, the island is good for that. The whole coastline is accessible. Beaumaris is about half an hour’s drive, with its castle. The National Trust have a few places here too, like Plas Newydd.

Facilities: you've got WiFi, TV, a dishwasher, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
