Stabal

This is Stabal, it's in Trefdraeth on Anglesey. It's one of three cottages in a small group. It's a well-insulated modern build, meant to be warm and cheap to run even in winter.

It sleeps six people. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It has a 5 Star rating, which means it's kitted out well. The ground floor is all open plan. The kitchen is part of that space. Patio doors lead out to your own area with a table and chairs.

The decor is quite bold. The owner is an artist, so her paintings are on the walls. There's a bedroom downstairs. Upstairs, two of the bedrooms have little Juliet balconies. One has a small extra room attached to it. We keep a cot and some toys in there, but you can use it as a dressing room if you like.

Outside, there's a shared lawn area at the front for the three cottages, and each one has its own set of outdoor skittles.

The location is good for the south coast of Anglesey. The beach at Aberffraw is a couple of miles away. Newborough Forest and Llanddwyn Island are about a ten minute drive. You can find details at National Trust Newborough.

You're well-placed for getting around the island. The Sea Zoo is nearby. The market town of Llangefni is about fifteen minutes away for bigger shops. The drive over to Holyhead for the ferry is about twenty-five minutes.

Facilities are all included. Washing machine, dishwasher, Wi-Fi, parking for one car. Bedding and towels are provided. We don't take pets and it's non-smoking.
