Hen Dy Goits

This is Hen Dy Goits. It's in Bethel on Anglesey. It's a detached cottage in our garden. It used to be the coach house for the island's post office a long time ago.

It sleeps five. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable. The staircase is handmade from Welsh oak, but the treads are open. Something to be aware of if you've got little kids.

The garden is enclosed, which is good if you're bringing dogs. You can have up to three pets. There's a multi-fuel stove for cooler evenings. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking, WiFi, and a washing machine.

You're about two miles from Aberffraw beach. It's sandy and good for a walk. Newborough beach and forest are a short drive away. The whole coast here is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

For a day out, Holyhead is the port for Ireland if you fancied a trip. Snowdonia National Park is about half an hour's drive for mountains and walking. There's a local shop half a mile away, and a restaurant about five miles.
