Ynys Groes
This is Ynys Groes. It's right on the beach in Rhosneigr on Anglesey. The back garden gate opens directly onto the sand.
It's a big house, sleeps twelve. Six bedrooms, five bathrooms. Plenty of room for a large family or a group. It has a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean, but it's not a new build. The kitchen still has the old quarry tiled floor and the original water pump as a feature. You'll have the place to yourselves and it's set in its own enclosed lawned garden.
The views are the main thing. Most rooms look straight out to sea, west over Cymyran Bay. The sunsets from the living room are very good.
You're right in the village. There's a shop about 400 yards away. The pub and a restaurant are about 200 yards. Rhosneigr is busy with families and water sports. There's a sailing club and schools for kite surfing and windsurfing right here.
If you want to go further, the whole island is easy from here. You can be in Holyhead in 15 minutes. The National Trust on Anglesey looks after a lot of the coastline. For inland walks and mountains, Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park is about a 30 minute drive. Beaumaris with its castle is about 25 minutes away.
In terms of what's here: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, wifi. Wood burning stove in the living room. Bikes can be stored. Bedding is included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. Parking on site for a few cars. You can bring up to two dogs.
