Ynys Groes is in Rhosneigr, right on the front. It's a big house, sleeps twelve. Six bedrooms, five bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped.
The main thing is the beach. It's there, right outside the garden gate. It's a sandy beach, award-winning they say. You get the garden to yourselves, it's lawned and enclosed. The sunsets over the bay are very good.
Most of the rooms look straight out to sea. It's an old house, so there are original bits like fireplaces and quarry tiles. There's even an old water pump in the kitchen, more for decoration now. Everything works though, it's not a museum.
The stairs are normal. There's parking for a few cars.
Rhosneigr itself is busy in summer. The sailing and windsurfing lot are always about. The village has what you need. There's a shop a few minutes walk away. A pub and a restaurant are even closer, about 200 yards.
If you want to get out, Anglesey has plenty. There's a golf course nearby. National Trust Anglesey looks after a few places like Plas Newydd. Visit Anglesey is a useful site. For castles, Beaumaris is about half an hour by car.
Snowdonia is also within half an hour if you want mountains.
Inside, you've got the basics covered. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi. TV. There's a woodburning stove for cooler evenings. Bedding is included. We provide a cot and highchair. You can bring two dogs.
