Pen Yr Allt
Pen Yr Allt is our house in Llanfaelog, on Anglesey. It's 19th century, attached to our own home, but you have it completely to yourselves.
It sleeps eight people. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. The main living room is upstairs. We did that because the views are better from there. You can see Snowdonia, the Lleyn peninsula, and a bit of the sea.
The location is good. You're about half a mile from the beach at Rhosneigr. It's a long, sandy beach with dunes. Very popular for families and for windsurfing and sailing. There's a shop about 500 yards away, and a pub and restaurant half a mile.
For things to do: Anglesey is great for walking and birdwatching. The whole area is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. There's a golf course nearby. If you want to explore further, Holyhead is about 15 minutes away by car. The South Stack lighthouse is worth a visit. Beaumaris, with its castle, is about a 25 minute drive.
Facilities: you've got a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, TV, and parking. The garden is yours to use. We provide bedding and towels. It's family-friendly, we can provide a cot, highchair, and stairgate. We accept up to two well-behaved dogs.
