This is Gallt Y Balch. It's on our farm in Hermon, near Newborough on Anglesey. We raise cattle and sheep here, so you'll see the animals in the fields. The cottage itself is semi-detached, part of a pair, but you have your own garden.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, which means it's comfortable, clean, and works well, but it's not a show home. The French doors in the living room open onto the patio. The view from there is the best part. You look right out over the Malltraeth estuary towards the mountains in Snowdonia.
You're on the edge of the Anglesey AONB here. Newborough Forest and Llanddwyn Beach are about ten minutes away by car. It's a very good beach.
The local shop and a pub are in Bryngwran, a mile up the road. For a bigger shop, Llangefni is about fifteen minutes drive.
If you're planning trips, Plas Newydd is close. Beaumaris with its castle is a nice half hour drive around the coast. The Visit Wales page for Anglesey has other ideas.
For facilities, you've got the washing machine, the TV, the enclosed garden with the BBQ, and parking right outside. Bedding is included. We can provide a cot. No pets, I'm afraid.
