Ty Main Cottage

Ty Main Cottage is in Newborough, which is a village in the southwest corner of Anglesey. It's a detached bungalow, so everything's on one level. It's next to our house, but it's completely private for you.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and a bathroom with a walk-in shower. It has a 3 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable, not high-end.

The main room is open-plan. Kitchen, sitting area, and a table all together. The courtyard garden is enclosed, which is good if you have kids or a dog. You can get one well-behaved pet in.

Newborough Forest and the beach are about three miles away. You can drive down the toll road or walk through the woods. The beach is huge and leads out to Llanddwyn Island. It's a proper good walk.

There's a shop, a local pub, and the Marram Grass Café within half a mile. The café does good food. Over the road is Tacla Taid, which is a transport museum if that's your thing.

Plas Newydd, a National Trust house, is about a 20-minute drive. It's got nice gardens and views over the Menai Strait. Foel Farm Park is close by if you have children.

For facilities: it has a washing machine, WiFi, TV, parking, and an enclosed garden with a BBQ. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair.
