Ty Will

Ty Will is one of three lodges near Newborough. It's detached. You get your own patio area with a bit of garden. It's quiet here, you do see rabbits and birds in the field.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom, all on the ground floor. The living area is open plan, so if someone's in the kitchen they're still part of the conversation. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and everything works.

The beach at Newborough is about four miles away. You can walk through the forest to get there, which is nice. The beach itself is huge when the tide's out. You can walk out to Llanddwyn Island from there, just check the tide times.

For a day out, Plas Newydd is a National Trust house about twenty minutes' drive. It's got gardens and views over the Menai Strait. National Trust Plas Newydd. Foel Farm Park is nearby if you have children with you.

Anglesey is good for walking the coast path. There's a golf course a couple of miles away. You can drive to Holyhead in under half an hour, or over the bridge to Bangor in about the same.

Facilities: there's parking right outside. WiFi, TV, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one well-behaved dog. It's available over Christmas, we put a tree up.
