White Mermaid is a detached cottage in Newborough on Anglesey. It's a 5 Star place, which means it's been done up to a high standard. It's small though, just for two people. Everything's on one floor.
The bedroom and kitchen are open plan. There's a proper shower room. The kitchen has what you need: hob, fridge, kettle, toaster. It's compact.
Outside, there's an enclosed garden that's just yours. You can park right there. One dog is allowed, but because it's a small space, a smaller dog would probably be happier.
You're about 350 yards from the village pub. There's a shop and a chippy nearby too. The big draw here is the location. Newborough Forest and the beach are about two miles away. You can walk it. The forest is a red squirrel area. The beach leads out to Llanddwyn Island, which is a special spot. It's a good, long beach.
For a day out, Beaumaris is under half an hour's drive. The castle is worth seeing. The whole island coast is accessible. The National Trust looks after a lot of it. Visit Anglesey has information on boat trips, like the ones to Puffin Island.
Facilities are all included: bedding, towels, wifi, TV, washing machine. The garden is enclosed. It's a straightforward place to stay if you want to be near that beach and forest.
