White Horses

This is White Horses in Newborough, on Anglesey. It's a two-bedroom cottage, sleeps four. One bathroom. We've a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and finished to a good standard. The main things are the underfloor heating, the wood burner, and a small enclosed garden at the back. It's a modern build but done in a cottage style.

You're right in the village. The local pub is a few minutes' walk away. There's also a shop, a chippy, and a cafe. The real draw is the location, though. You're about two miles from Newborough Beach and the forest. You can walk to Llanddwyn Island from there when the tide's out. It's a special spot. The forest itself is a red squirrel reserve. It's a proper, long beach. You can spend a day there easily.

We allow one dog. Because the garden is on the small side, a smaller dog is probably more suitable.

For days out, Beaumaris is about half an hour's drive. The castle is worth a visit. The whole island coastline is there to explore. If you're after activity, Rib Ride do boat trips from different points. For general planning, the National Trust and Visit Anglesey sites are useful.

Facilities are all included: WiFi, TV, parking, bedding and towels. There's a washing machine, a cot and a highchair if you need them.
