Yr Hen Stabl

This is the old stable building, Yr Hen Stabl. It's one of three cottages here at Bronallt Barns, near Llanynghenedl on Anglesey. It's a semi-detached conversion from an old farm building. You're surrounded by fields, but it's not remote.

It sleeps six people. Three bedrooms and, helpfully, three bathrooms. One on each floor. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's well equipped and comfortable. It's warm, with a woodburning stove for the winter.

The garden is enclosed, which is good if you're bringing dogs. We allow up to two pets. There's parking right outside.

You're about four miles from the coast. The nearest proper village with a shop and a pub is Valley, about a mile away. For a beach, Rhosneigr is about ten minutes by car. It's good for swimming and has a couple of cafes.

If you're walking, you can pick up the Anglesey Coastal Path in a few different spots. RSPB South Stack is about a 15 minute drive for the cliffs and seabirds. Holyhead is the same direction if you need the ferry to Ireland.

For a day out, driving into Snowdonia takes about half an hour. You can be walking up a mountain or visiting a slate museum quite easily from here.

Inside, you've got the basics covered: WiFi, TV, a washing machine, and all bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.

If you've got a bigger group, you can book this place together with the other two cottages here.
