Hen Ysgol
Hen Ysgol is in Llanfaethlu, on the north coast of Anglesey. It used to be the village school. It's detached, so you're on your own. The garden is enclosed and gets the sun.
It sleeps eight people in five bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. It's a 3 Star place, so it's comfortable and clean but not fussy.
You can see the sea from the front windows. The back looks out over fields. It's quiet.
The nearest proper shop is about half a mile away in the village. For a beach, Carmel Head is close. Church Bay is a short drive and is good for a walk.
You can get to Holyhead in about fifteen minutes by car. The RSPB reserve at South Stack is there. The ferry to Ireland goes from there too.
Beaumaris is about half an hour's drive. It's got the castle and a nice front to walk along. Snowdonia is also within half an hour if you want mountains.
What's here: There's a woodburning stove for cooler evenings. WiFi, TV, dishwasher, washing machine. Bedding is included. We have a cot and a highchair. There is parking for two cars on the drive.
You can bring up to two dogs. The garden is fully enclosed.
