Salem Fach
This is Salem Fach. It’s near Llanfair yng Nghornwy on Anglesey, right up on the north west tip. The lane’s very quiet. It’s attached to our house, but you’ve got your own entrance and garden. The main thing is the view. You look out over fields and you can see the Irish Sea from here.
It sleeps three, with two bedrooms and one bathroom. It’s a 4 Star place, so everything’s in good order. The hot tub is up at the top of the garden in a summerhouse. It’s a good spot to sit.
You’re surrounded by fields here. The Cemlyn nature reserve is a short walk away. You can see terns nesting there, and sometimes seals or dolphins from the coast. We get owls and birds of prey around the cottage too. It’s on cycling route 566, so the lanes around here are good for bikes.
Church Bay beach is about three miles away. There’s a good café there. The nearest pub is also about three miles. For a shop, you’ll need to drive about five.
If you want to explore, Holyhead is about nine miles for the ferry port. The coast path runs all along here for walking. For a proper day out, Snowdonia is under an hour’s drive.
Facilities: there’s a washing machine, Wi-Fi, parking right outside, and bedding and towels are included. There’s a stairgate if you need it. No pets, sorry.
