Llwyn Ysgaw is just outside Cemaes, on the north coast of Anglesey. It's a detached stone house, not on a main road. You can see the sea from the upstairs windows.
It sleeps ten people across five bedrooms. Three bathrooms, one on each floor. The kitchen is big which is good if a few of you are cooking. It has a 5 Star rating so everything is in good working order. You can bring two dogs.
There's a good-sized, enclosed garden and your own parking for three cars on the gravel.
Cemaes itself is about a ten minute walk downhill. There's a couple of pubs that do food, a few shops for basics, and a nice little harbour. The coastal path runs right by it if you want a proper walk. The main beach in the bay is sand and shingle, good for a paddle. The walk to the bay takes you back up a hill, so it's a bit of a climb.
If you want bigger beaches, there's Porth Wen or Porth Llanlleiana about five minutes drive away. For something really spectacular like South Stack Lighthouse or the castle in Beaumaris, you're looking at a 45 minute drive. There's plenty of information in the house about those places.
The facilities are all there. Washing machine, dishwasher, cot, highchair, stairgate. Bedding and towels are included. Wi-Fi is decent.
