This is Y Graiglwyd in Bull Bay on Anglesey. It's a big, old Victorian house built as a shooting lodge. It sits right up on the hill, so you get a clear view down to the sea from most rooms.
It sleeps fourteen people. There are seven bedrooms and eight bathrooms. Every bedroom has its own bathroom, which is handy with a big group. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well equipped and finished to a high standard.
The house is on four floors. The stairs are your typical old house stairs, so they're a bit steep and winding. It's full of big windows, so it's very light inside. The décor is a mix of modern and nautical, with some antique furniture.
You can bring up to three dogs. The owners are really into dogs, so there's even a dedicated bedroom for them with their own beds and things.
Outside, there's an enclosed garden with a patio and a BBQ. At the front, there's a little gated area with a table and chairs, which is a nice spot to sit with a drink and look at the view. There's no private parking, but there's a free public car park directly opposite the house.
Location-wise, it's very straightforward. The Anglesey Coastal Path runs just behind the house. You can be on it in two minutes. Bull Bay itself is quiet, with a pub about a fifteen minute walk away. The village of Cemaes Bay is about a ten minute drive, and Amlwch is five minutes in the other direction.
For a day out, you're about thirty minutes from Holyhead, and the National Trust properties on Anglesey like Penrhyn Castle and Plas Newydd are within that drive. The bridges to the mainland are about forty minutes away, so Snowdonia is easily accessible for a trip.
Inside, you've got a games room, a wood burning stove, WiFi, TVs, a dishwasher and washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
