Copper Crab Cottage

Copper Crab Cottage is in Amlwch. It's a one bedroom place, so it's just for two.

You come in through the front door into the living room. There's a sofa and a wood burner for the evenings. The kitchen is through there. It's got a dishwasher and everything you'd need to cook.

Upstairs is the bedroom. The bed is comfortable. The bathroom has a shower.

Out the back is an enclosed garden. It's got a table and chairs and a BBQ. It gets the sun.

The cottage has a 4 Star rating. It means it's got the things you need. WiFi, TV, all the bedding and towels are included. You can bring two dogs.

Amlwch is on the north coast of Anglesey. The town itself is a proper old port, built on the copper trade. The big thing here is Parys Mountain. It's an old copper mine and the landscape is like another planet, all orange and bare. It's a five minute drive from the cottage. You can walk around it.

You can walk to the coast from the cottage in about ten minutes. There's a path down to the harbour and the old breakwater.

If you drive for half an hour, you can get to a lot. Holyhead is one way, Beaumaris is the other. The beaches at Cemaes Bay and Trearddur Bay are good. South Stack lighthouse is worth seeing.

Anglesey is good for walking and being outside. Useful links for planning are Visit Wales Anglesey pages and the National Trust in Wales, as they look after a few spots on the island like Plas Newydd.

That's about it.
