This place is called Hen Efail. It's in Penysarn on Anglesey. It used to be the village blacksmith's shop, so that's where the name comes from. It's an old stone cottage from the 1700s.
It's a semi-detached place, sleeps four. There are two bedrooms and a bathroom on the first floor, then another shower room downstairs. It's got a 4-Star rating. It's comfortable, but bear in mind the walls are thick stone. The wi-fi signal is okay, but it can be a bit patchy upstairs.
You can bring two dogs. There's a small, enclosed garden out the back. It gets the sun in the afternoon.
The village doesn't have much, just a pub. For a shop, you'd drive to Amlwch. It's about two miles. It's a proper old fishing port with a harbour. You can get fish and chips there.
The coast path is right there, literally at the end of the road. You can walk for miles. Bull Bay is a nice little sandy beach, about ten minutes by car. For a bigger beach, Traeth Lligwy is about fifteen minutes drive. It's lovely.
If you want to explore, Cemaes Bay is nice. Beaumaris is a good day out with the castle. Holyhead isn't far if you need a ferry to Ireland. Snowdonia is about a forty minute drive inland.
In the cottage you've got a wood burner, dishwasher, washing machine, and parking for one car on the drive. All the bedding and towels are included.
