The Den is in the village of Penysarn on Anglesey. It's one of three apartments behind the Ty Copr shop. That shop sells local bits and bobs, beer and spirits. It's handy.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It has a 4 Star rating. It's got a woodburning stove which is nice in the colder months. The garden is enclosed, so it's safe for dogs. We take up to two pets.
The village shop and post office is about 50 yards away. It's got the essentials. The nearest pub is about three miles, in Amlwch. Amlwch port is a few minutes' drive. It has a harbour and a supermarket.
You're right at the bottom of Parys Mountain. It's an old copper mine with a heritage trail you can walk. The whole area is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The coast is close. The nearest good sandy beach is about four and a half miles away.
You can often see seabirds, and sometimes seals or dolphins from the coast. There are boat trips from nearby places for fishing or to see puffins.
Snowdonia is about a 30 minute drive if you want mountains. It's good for walking and climbing. Anglesey itself has a lot of coast path to explore.
Facilities here: there's WiFi, a TV, a washing machine, and bedding and towels are included. Parking is on site.
