Pen Parc is a bungalow in Rhos y Bol on Anglesey. It's detached, so no one's attached to you. The garden is big and fenced all the way around, which is good if you're bringing dogs. The views are to the south, over fields towards the Snowdonia mountains.
It sleeps six in four bedrooms, but there's just the one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and comfy. Everything's on one floor, which some people prefer.
There's a washing machine, a dishwasher, and a woodburner for cosy nights. The TV has satellite and there's WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. Parking is right there.
You can bring up to two dogs. The garden being enclosed is probably the main reason for that.
The local shop is literally ten yards from the gate. For a pub, you'll need to drive about five miles. The nearest beach is about three and a half miles, which is Newborough. It's a lovely beach, but it's a proper sandy National Trust one so check the rules for dogs. For surfing, people tend to go to Rhosneigr, which is about a twenty minute drive.
You're well placed for getting around the island. The whole coast is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The 125 mile coastal path goes all the way round if you like walking. Beaumaris with its castle is a nice trip, maybe half an hour away. The port at Holyhead is about twenty minutes if you fancied a trip to Ireland.
Snowdonia National Park is just over the bridge, maybe a 40 minute drive to some of the main spots. For planning, these sites are useful: Visit Anglesey, Snowdonia National Park, and National Trust Wales.
