Penrhos Bach
This is Penrhos Bach. It's in Carmel, on Anglesey. It's a bungalow, so everything's on one level. It's next to our house, but you have your own space and the garden.
It's just for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's comfortable and well looked after, not just the basics. It's quite spacious for a one-bedroom place.
The location is quiet. You look out over fields. It's about two miles to the nearest shop and pub. The pub serves food. For a beach, you're looking at a 15-20 minute drive. Benllech and Red Wharf Bay are good options.
Anglesey is good for walking or cycling. The coast path is all around the island. If you want to go into the mountains, Snowdonia is about half an hour's drive. Places like Beaumaris with its castle, or the RSPB site at South Stack for birds, are easy to get to.
It has what you'd need: Wi-Fi, TV, a washing machine. Towels and bedding are included. There's parking right outside. We take up to two dogs. We put a tree up at Christmas, but you can move it if you want.
