Owl Cottage
This is Owl Cottage. It’s part of a group of three places at Melin Newydd, which is an old windmill they restored. The windmill itself is one of the properties. Owl Cottage is detached.
It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. The bedrooms are up a flight of stairs. The main living space is a conservatory, so it’s light, and the windows look straight out over the fields. It’s got a 4 Star rating. Everything’s clean and works. There’s one bathroom with a shower.
The location is quiet and rural. You’re about five miles from the nearest beach at Rhosneigr. That’s a ten-minute drive. The coast is good here, lots of it to explore. A shop and a pub are three miles away. There’s a restaurant about five miles.
If you’re driving, South Stack RSPB reserve is nearby for birdwatching. For a day out, Plas Newydd, the National Trust house, is worth visiting. Beaumaris with its castle is nice too. Snowdonia is back on the mainland, maybe 40 minutes away by car.
You can bring up to two dogs. There’s parking right outside. It has WiFi, a TV, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included.
