Alarch

This is Alarch. It's part of an old farm near the village of Llanfachraeth on Anglesey. There are two other cottages here, but each one is separate. You get your own bit of garden.

It's a two bedroom place, sleeps four. Both bedrooms have their own bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's well looked after and comfortable. Being an old building, the doorways are a bit low in places.

The main thing is the view. It looks straight out over the fields to the Alaw estuary. It's very quiet. You can walk down to the riverbank from the gate.

The Isle of Anglesey Coastal Path runs past nearby. The nearest proper beach is about a mile away, at Silver Bay. The local shop and pub are half a mile up the road in the village. The pub does food.

For getting around, Holyhead is about ten minutes by car. Beaumaris is twenty minutes, and you've got the Menai Bridge to the mainland there. The drive into Snowdonia is about forty-five minutes, depending on traffic.

Inside, it's got what you'd need. Washing machine, dishwasher, TV, WiFi. Towels and bedding are included. There's parking right outside. You can bring up to two dogs.

If you're planning things to do, these sites are useful: National Trust Wales and for walking the coast path, Anglesey Coastal Path.
