Rhiwal Kitty
Rhiwal Kitty is a converted farm building on our working farm here in Bodedern. It's semi-detached, next to our house, at the end of a quiet lane. The views are over our fields and the woods beyond. They're good, honest views.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. Both bedrooms have their own ensuite bathroom, and there's a third toilet downstairs as well. It has a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped. You get your own private patio area out the back, and you're welcome to use the bigger shared lawn.
Because it's a farm conversion, the rooms are a decent size, but the doorways and stairs are what you'd expect. They're not low, but if you're very tall you'll know to mind your head. The Wi-Fi works fine.
We're about a mile from Bodedern village. There's a shop there for basics. The nearest pub is in the village too.
The coast is about a ten minute drive. Rhosneigr has good sandy beaches and is popular for water sports. For a quieter beach, try Aberffraw. The whole Anglesey coast is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Beaumaris is a nice town to visit, about twenty minutes away by car. The castle there is worth seeing, run by Cadw. You can get boat trips from there or from Holyhead to see seals and puffins, depending on the season.
If you want to go walking, National Trust Anglesey has good information on coastal paths. For mountains, Snowdonia is about half an hour's drive.
Facilities: it's got a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, parking. We can provide a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them. One well-behaved dog is welcome. All bedding and towels are included.
There are two other cottages on the farm, Ysgubor Myfi and Stabal Arthur. You can book them together if you're a larger group.
