Y Beudy

This is Y Beudy. It's a converted farm building near Llanfwrog on Anglesey. It's detached and you have the patio to yourselves. The main thing is the view. You can see the sea from most windows.

It sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. That's useful with a big group. The rating is 5 Star, which means it's well finished and comfortable. No corners cut.

Downstairs is mostly open plan. Kitchen, dining area, and sitting area all together. There are two bedrooms down here as well, a twin and a double, both with sea views and en-suites. Upstairs are the other two, a king and a double, again both with en-suites and views.

The patio gets the sun all day. It faces southwest so you get the evening sun too. There's parking right by the building.

You're on a working farm here. The main farmhouse is a little way off. It's quiet.

For beaches, you're close to all sorts. You've got about 125 miles of coast to choose from. South Stack Lighthouse is about a twenty minute drive. The coastal path is right there for walking.

Beaumaris is a twenty-five minute drive. It's got the castle, which is a World Heritage site. There's also a good butchers and a few decent places to eat.

Holyhead is the closest town for bigger shops, about ten minutes by car. There's a golf course not far from there.

Inside, it's got what you'd expect: a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and high chair if you need them. No pets, sorry.

If you're looking for things to do, the Visit Anglesey site is good. For the coastal path and nature reserves, North Wales Wildlife Trust has the details.
