Gardd Efa

This is Gardd Efa, our place in Llanfaethlu on Anglesey. It's a detached house, so you're on your own. The views from the front are over fields towards the sea.

It sleeps eight people in four bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, one is an en-suite shower room off the main bedroom. That room has its own little glass balcony to stand on. The stairs are normal house stairs, nothing too awkward.

The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine. There's a wood burning stove in the living room. Outside, there's a patio with a garden that's enclosed, so it's safe for kids or dogs. We allow two pets.

It's a four-star rating. Everything is included, bedding, towels, electricity. There's parking on the drive.

You can walk to the beach in about ten minutes. It's not a big resort beach, it's quieter. The local shop is about a mile and a half away. The nearest pub is in Cemaes, which is about seven miles, so you'd drive.

For days out, Holyhead is about a fifteen minute drive. You can get the ferry to Ireland from there. The RSPB South Stack Cliffs are about twenty minutes by car, good for walks and seeing the lighthouse. Beaumaris with its castle is about half an hour away. The whole coast of Anglesey is easy to get to from here.
