Branwen

Branwen is a detached cottage on Anglesey, in North Wales. It's on a farm near Llanfachraeth, on the edge of the Alaw Estuary. The views are across fields. You might see the farm's goat.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one with a kingsize bed and one with twins that can be zipped together to make a super king if you ask beforehand. One bathroom with a walk-in shower.

Inside it's all open plan, so the kitchen, living and dining area is all one space. It feels quite spacious. It has a 4 Star rating. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside.

You can bring up to three dogs. The garden is yours to use. It's a rural spot, so it's quiet.

The estuary is right there for walking and birdwatching. For beaches, you drive. There are lots to choose from within about twenty minutes. South Stack Lighthouse is a fifteen minute drive. You can walk out to it and see the seabirds. For boat trips, like the ones to see puffins, you'd drive to places like Beaumaris.

There's horse riding locally if you arrange it. Anglesey has a lot of coast path to walk. The Visit Wales page for Anglesey is useful, and the National Trust for Anglesey has details on their sites like Penrhyn Castle, which is about half an hour away.

If you're in a big group, we have another cottage on the farm that can be booked with this one.
