Branwen is a detached cottage on our farm near Llanfachraeth. It faces south west, so you get the sun in the afternoon and evening. The living room looks out over the fields. There's a goat in the far field sometimes.
It sleeps four. One kingsize bedroom and one twin room. The twin beds can be pushed together to make a super king if you prefer. There's one shower room with a walk-in shower.
The living area is open plan. There's a kitchen, a dining table, and a sitting area. It's all pretty new and clean. You get a washing machine, a dishwasher, wifi, and parking right outside.
You can walk straight out onto the farm tracks. The Alaw estuary is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and it's right there. Good for a stroll and birdwatching. The coastal path is about a ten minute drive away.
You're in a quiet spot. The local shop and post office is in Llanfachraeth village, a couple of minutes by car. The nearest beach is about a ten minute drive. Anglesey has a lot of coast, so you can try a different beach each day.
For a day out, South Stack lighthouse is about twenty minutes away. Holyhead is fifteen minutes for supermarkets. The National Trust has a few places on the island like Plas Newydd. Beaumaris with its castle is about half an hour's drive.
You can bring up to three dogs. We provide a cot and highchair if you need them.
