Penteryfn

This is Penteryfn. It's a detached house on Anglesey, just outside the village of Llanfachraeth. The lane it's on goes down to Sandy Beach.

It sleeps eight people. There are four bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and comfortable. It's a good size for a group or a family.

The garden is fully enclosed, which is useful if you have a dog or children. You can bring one well-behaved dog. There's a patio with a barbecue, and a lawn. There's also a shed for storing bikes if you bring them.

Inside, it's open plan downstairs. There's a woodburning stove for colder evenings. You've got all the usual things: WiFi, TV, dishwasher, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included.

The village shop and the pub are about a mile away. The pub serves food. For a bigger supermarket, Holyhead is about a ten minute drive. That's also where the ferry port is, if you're thinking of a day trip to Ireland.

Sandy Beach is a short walk down the lane. It's a proper sandy beach, good for a swim if you're brave enough. The coast path is nearby for walking.

You can drive into Snowdonia in about half an hour. There are castles like Beaumaris and Caernarfon within easy reach. For birdwatchers, the RSPB reserve at South Stack is close by.
