Penteryfn

Penteryfn is near Llanfachraeth on Anglesey. It's a detached house, so no one attached. Sleeps eight, four bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, which is accurate. It's comfortable and well looked after.

The garden is enclosed with a lawn. There's a patio area and a barbecue. Inside, it's open plan on the ground floor with a woodburning stove. We leave the wood for you. There's a TV, WiFi, dishwasher, washing machine, and parking. We include the bedding and towels. There's a cot if you need it. One well-behaved dog is allowed.

It's on a quiet country lane. The local shop and pub are about a mile away in Llanfachraeth. The pub does food. Sandy Beach is about a ten minute walk down the lane. It's a proper sandy beach, good for swimming when the tide's in.

Holyhead is a short drive. You can get the ferry to Ireland from there if that's your plan. For walking, the Anglesey Coastal Path is all around you. The whole island is good for cycling on quiet lanes. We have bike storage.

If you want to go further, the main attractions on the island like South Stack Lighthouse, Beaumaris, and the sea zoo are all within half an hour. The Menai Bridge over to the mainland is about twenty minutes. From there, you can be in Snowdonia National Park in another twenty. The old coaching town of Betws-y-Coed is a good place to start.
