The Barnsdale is on the outskirts of Amlwch, right on Anglesey's north coast. It's a two-bedroom cottage that sleeps two adults, plus children in the bunk beds. Good for a couple or a small family.
You've got an open plan living area downstairs. It's a decent space. Kitchen, dining, and sitting area all in one room. The bathroom is upstairs, with a shower. Garden at the back is enclosed, which is handy. There's a BBQ out there.
It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. You get the normal things: Wi-Fi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
You can bring two dogs. The garden's secure, and there's coastal walking from the door.
Amlwch itself is a workaday town. It's got shops and stuff. The port is interesting, with the old copper mining history. You can walk from there along the coast to Point Lynas. The Copper Kingdom Centre tells you all about it if you're interested.
Bull Bay is a couple of miles away, good for a paddle. Cemaes is a bit further, with nice beaches and a harbour. The area is good for fishing and horse riding is available locally.
For wider planning, the Visit Anglesey site has lots of info, and the National Trust looks after a lot of the coastline here.
