The Barnsdale is in Amlwch, up on Anglesey. It's a terraced cottage. It sleeps two, but there are two bedrooms - one's a double and the other has bunk beds, so it's fine for a couple with a child or two. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable.
It's all open plan downstairs. Kitchen, living area, dining table. It's a good space if you're in for the evening. The stairs are a bit steep, like most cottages here. The bathroom is upstairs, just a shower room with a toilet and basin.
Out the back there's an enclosed garden. It's paved, with a table and chairs and a barbecue. It gets the sun in the afternoon.
The town centre, with shops and a couple of pubs, is a few minutes' walk. Amlwch Port is also walkable. That's where the Copper Kingdom Centre is, about the old copper mines. The coastal path starts there too. You can walk from the Port to Point Lynas lighthouse.
Bull Bay is about two miles away. It's a small cove. You see seals there sometimes. Cemaes Bay is a bit further, maybe ten minutes in the car. It’s a bigger village with a nice beach and harbour.
If you want to drive, Holyhead is about twenty minutes. The National Trust has a few spots on the island, like South Stack for the cliffs. The whole coast path is good for walking. There's a golf course nearby.
Facilities: it's got a washing machine, dishwasher, wifi and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. You can bring up to two dogs.
