The Loft is an apartment on the top floor of a building in Penysarn, Anglesey. It's part of a group of three holiday lets above the Ty Copr shop. It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It has a 4 Star rating.
It's an open plan place. Stairs lead up to the living area, kitchen, and the bedroom is off that. Because it's the loft, the ceilings slope in places. You're tall, mind your head. There's a washing machine, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are provided.
Outside, there's an enclosed patio garden that's just for you. It gets the sun in the afternoon. You look out over the back.
Penysarn is a small village. There's a shop and post office about fifty yards away for basics. The nearest pub is in Amlwch, about three miles. Amlwch Port is a ten minute drive. It has a supermarket, a few cafes, and a little harbour.
The big thing here is Parys Mountain. It's right behind the village. The copper mines left the landscape all orange and purple. There's a heritage trail you can walk. It's strange and good.
The coast is about five minutes by car. Traeth Lligwy is a good, wide sandy beach. Moelfre is a bit further, that's more of a traditional seaside village. The Anglesey Coastal Path runs through there. For organised trips, you can get boat tours from nearby places like Beaumaris for fishing or to see puffins on the islands.
If you want to go further, Holyhead and the ferry port are about twenty-five minutes south. The Menai Bridge to get onto the mainland is about half an hour's drive. Snowdonia is roughly forty-five minutes, depending on where you're heading.
