Trem Y Werydd

Trem Y Werydd is in Amlwch, on the north coast of Anglesey. It's a terraced cottage, but it's not overlooked much because of the way the street sits. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's a simple, solid place that's been done up nicely.

It sleeps eight, which is a lot for three bedrooms. There are a few bunk beds in there. The bathroom is upstairs, but there's a separate toilet downstairs by the back door. That comes in handy.

From the back garden you can see the sea. It's a view over the rooftops to the water. It's a quiet spot.

Amlwch Port is a few minutes' walk down the hill. The history around here is mainly the old copper mines at Parys Mountain, which looks like a different planet. You can walk up there. The National Trust Wales website is good for nearby coastal walks. Bull Bay is about two miles away, which is good for rock pooling or a paddle. You sometimes see seals there.

Within half an hour you can drive to places like Benllech or Moelfre for bigger beaches. Holyhead is about twenty minutes if you need the ferry or bigger shops.

For facilities, it has what you'd expect. Washing machine, Wi-Fi, parking for one car on the street out front. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if needed. No pets allowed.
