The Snug

The Snug is in Penysarn, on Anglesey. It's a one-bedroom flat for two people. It's part of a small block of three, so you share the courtyard with the other apartments. The front door is behind Ty Copr, which is a local shop.

It's a 3 Star place. That means it's clean and comfortable, but not luxurious. It's small, which is why it's called The Snug. Everything you need is there, it's just compact.

You're right at the bottom of Parys Mountain. It's an old copper mine and looks a bit like Mars. There are walks up there. The village shop and post office is about a minute's walk away. The nearest pub is in Amlwch, which is a ten-minute drive.

Amlwch has a harbour and a supermarket. The coast is about five miles away. Bull Bay is close, and places like Cemaes Bay and Benllech have good sandy beaches. You can often see seals. For puffin watching trips, you go to Puffin Island near Penmon.

It's a good spot if you want to explore the island or go into Snowdonia. The national park is about half an hour's drive over the bridge. Caernarfon is also about half an hour away.

Facilities: Wi-Fi, TV, towels and bedding are provided. There's a small enclosed patio area. There is local fishing and a golf course nearby.
