The Mill is in Clynnog fawr, on the Llyn Peninsula. It's a converted stone building, so the walls are thick and it feels solid. The main thing is the view. You look out over fields to the sea. You get that from the main room and the conservatory.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. Both bedrooms have doors that go straight out into the garden. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you have dogs or kids. There's a covered bit outside with seating, which is a good spot when it's drizzling or when the sun's going down.
Inside, it's one big room for the kitchen, dining and living area. There's a wood burner. It's got a 4 Star rating. The facilities are all there: washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking right outside.
You can take up to two dogs. We provide bedding and towels. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
The beach is a few minutes' walk down the lane. It's not a huge sandy beach, more shingle and rock pools, but it's quiet. For a long sandy beach, Dinas Dinlle is about a ten-minute drive. It's a Blue Flag beach.
You're in a good spot for getting around. Caernarfon Castle is about twenty minutes by car. It's a UNESCO site. National Trust Llyn has information on the coastal path and other places nearby. The Welsh Highland Railway runs from Porthmadog, which is maybe half an hour away.
If you want activities, Glasfryn Parc is about twenty-five minutes drive. They have go-karts, archery, that sort of thing. For a pint right on the sand, the Ty Coch Inn at Porthdinllaen is famous for it. That's about twenty minutes.
Snowdonia National Park is on your doorstep. The southern edges of it are a fifteen-minute drive, but to get right into the heart of it for the big walks you're looking at forty minutes or so.
