The Mill is on the edge of Clynnog fawr. It's a converted mill building, so it's quite a big, solid stone place. It's got two bedrooms and sleeps four.
The best thing is the view. You look out over fields straight to the sea. The sunsets are good from the conservatory.
Both bedrooms have doors that go straight out into the garden. It's enclosed, so it's safe for dogs and kids. There's a patio with a barbecue and a covered bit with seats.
Inside, it's one big open room for the kitchen and living area. There's a wood burner for cooler nights. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's well-equipped. There's a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them.
The beach is about a ten minute walk down the lane. It's a pebble beach, good for a paddle. For a sandy beach, Dinas Dinlle is ten minutes in the car. It's a Blue Flag beach.
You're right on the edge of Snowdonia here. The mountains are about a twenty minute drive inland. The coast path goes right past, so the walking is excellent. For a pint on the beach, the Ty Coch Inn at Porthdinllaen is about twenty minutes away. Caernarfon Castle is fifteen minutes drive. It's a Cadw site.
Pwllheli, Criccieth, and Porthmadog are all within half an hour. Porthmadog has the Welsh Highland Railway. Glasfryn Park is twenty minutes away if you want activities like go-karting or archery.
We allow up to two dogs. There's on-site parking for two cars. The garden is fully enclosed.
If you're planning walks, the Snowdonia National Park site is useful. For local beaches and towns, Visit Wales has information on the Llyn Peninsula.
