Blue
This is Blue. It's one of three cottages in Trefor, right on the Llyn Peninsula. You're basically in the village, but the lane stops here. The cottages are in a little row facing the sea.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable but not luxurious. Think of it as a proper base, not a show home. You can bring one dog.
The main thing is the view. You look straight out to sea from the front. The Wales Coast Path runs right past the door. About a hundred yards down, there are steps that go directly down to the pebble beach. It's very quiet. There's no traffic.
The village has a small shop for basics. For a big shop, you'll need to drive to Caernarfon or Pwllheli. You'll need a car here.
You're well placed for getting out. Caernarfon Castle is about a 20 minute drive. Snowdonia National Park is about half an hour to the east. Anglesey is over the Menai Strait. For a longer beach, Dinas Dinlle is just down the coast.
Inside, it's got a wood burner for chilly evenings. All the bedding and towels are provided. There's parking right outside. It's got electric heating and the utilities are included.
