Ty Gan Y Mor

Ty Gan Y Mor is in Nefyn. It's a detached house on a hill. The main thing is the view. You look right out over Porthdinllaen bay and across to Anglesey. It's a big, wide view from the front of the house.

It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's a five star rating, which means it's well finished and comfortable. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, that sort of thing. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog.

The layout is a bit different. The living room is upstairs on the first floor to make the most of the view. It has big glass doors that open onto a balcony. The stairs up to it are a wide spiral. They're open and a bit steep, which is worth knowing.

Two of the bedrooms are on the ground floor. One has a kingsize bed, the other has bunk beds. The main bedroom with an ensuite is next to the living room on the first floor.

Outside, there's a long stone terrace with a table. Steps go down to a lawn. The garden is enclosed. There are a couple of small, ornamental ponds with seating near them. You can see birds like red kites from there.

The local pub is in the village. Nefyn has a golf course right on the coast. The beach at Porthdinllaen is about a mile down the hill. It's a nice walk, but it's steep coming back up.

For a day out, you're close to lots of the Llŷn Peninsula. Abersoch is about 15 minutes by car. Pwllheli is similar. The whole coast path is on your doorstep. For castles, Criccieth is about half an hour away and Caernarfon Castle is maybe 40 minutes.
