Llywnfor

Llwynfor is a big house up in Morfa Nefyn. It's detached and sleeps ten, which makes it good for a family or a few couples. It's got five bedrooms and three bathrooms. There's a rating, but it's just a house, really. It's clean and feels new but comfortable.

The main living space is open plan, so everyone's together. There's a second living room downstairs as well, which we use as a games room. It's got a full-size snooker table and a dart board. There's also a karaoke machine. We've kept it all from when we used it ourselves.

The kitchen has an Aga and a normal oven, so you can use either. The utility room is handy, especially if you're bringing dogs. We take two, by the way. They're welcome.

Outside, there's a paved garden at the back with a table, chairs, and a table tennis table. There's also an outdoor shower, which is useful for washing off sand or wet dogs. The summerhouse is a nice spot if you want some shade. You can park four cars on the drive, and there's an electric car charger.

The village is close. It's about a ten minute walk down to the beach at Morfa Nefyn. There's a good restaurant on the way. The golf course is right on the headland. Porthdinllaen, which is a National Trust fishing village with a famous pub on the beach, is about a mile and a half along the coast path.

If you want to go further, Abersoch is about a fifteen minute drive for sailing and shops. For surfing, Porth Neigwl, Hell's Mouth, is about twenty minutes away. The edges of Snowdonia are maybe half an hour's drive.

A couple of things to note plainly. The stairs to the first floor are fine, but the ones down to the lower ground floor games room are a bit steeper and spiral. Also, while the entrance is level for wheelchairs, the bedrooms are all upstairs.

Everything like bedding, towels, and wifi is included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
