House On The Corner

House on the Corner is literally that, on the corner of Beach Road in Morfa Nefyn. The beach is two minutes away. You just walk to the end of the road and you're there.

It sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's a 4 Star place. It's got a big lawn that gets sun most of the day, and there's a second lawn through a gap in the hedge. Good for kids or dogs to run around.

The house was built in the early 60s. The kitchen has that sort of retro look, with a food hatch into the lounge. The internet works fine. There's a wood burner, a dishwasher, a washing machine, and we include the bedding. You can bring up to two dogs.

The stairs to the two loft bedrooms are cottage stairs. They're a bit steep.

The local shop is a short walk. It sells good local meat and fish. There's a nice little cafe just around the corner from the house. A gastro pub is about a mile away.

You join the coastal path right by the beach. The views from there back towards Snowdonia are very good. You can often see seals close in when the weather's calm.

Abersoch is about a 25 minute drive south if you want more shops or watersports. Porthdinllaen, with its famous pub on the beach, is a 10 minute drive around the headland. For a bigger day out, you can be in the heart of Snowdonia National Park in roughly half an hour.
