Ty Halen

Ty Halen is in Morfa Nefyn, on the Llŷn Peninsula. It's a detached beach house that sleeps ten, in five bedrooms. There are two bathrooms.

It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well-equipped, but it's not a show home. The location is the main thing. It's right above the beach, maybe thirty seconds walk down to the sand.

The living room is on the first floor and has big doors that open onto a deck. The view from there is straight out to sea, over the lifeboat station and towards Anglesey. You can see it from the hot tub in the garden too. The garden is enclosed by a wall and a hedge.

There are a lot of stairs inside. Some are steep, some are spiral. Two stairgates are provided if you need them. The kitchen is a galley style, so it's functional rather than huge, but it has a dishwasher and a washing machine. There's a games area in the garage on the ground floor, with table football.

You can bring one well-behaved dog. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking on the drive for a couple of cars.

Outside, the Wales Coast Path runs past the end of the road. Turn left and you can walk along the cliffs. Turn right and you're on Morfa Nefyn beach in a minute. At low tide you can walk along the sand to Porthdinllaen, which has the Ty Coch pub right on the beach. Nefyn Golf Club is just up the hill.

Within half an hour's drive you've got Abersoch, which is good for watersports and has a busy beach. Aberdaron is a similar distance the other way, at the tip of the peninsula. Pwllheli has a bigger supermarket if you need it. The beach at Porthor, the Whistling Sands, is about a twenty minute drive.
