Tir A Mor

Tir A Mor is in Nefyn, just up from the beach. It's detached, set back a bit from the road. We had it extended and done up a couple of years ago.

It's got a 5 Star rating, so everything's new and it's well equipped. It sleeps four, but has three bedrooms. That's because two are singles, and the third is a large double upstairs with its own bathroom. There are two more bathrooms. The stairs to the main bedroom are a spiral staircase. They're fine, but you need to watch your step.

The main thing is the view. You can see right across both bays from the living room and the upstairs balcony. There's a telescope up there. The garden is on different levels, with patios and a lawn. There's outdoor furniture and a hot tub on one of the patios.

You're about a five minute walk from the beach and the Porthdinllaen coastal path. The Ty Coch Inn is out on the headland, maybe a twenty minute walk along the beach. Nefyn has a chip shop, a couple of pubs, and a small supermarket.

For golf, the Nefyn & District Golf Club is right on the cliff edge. Abersoch is about a fifteen minute drive for more shops and a busier beach. The Llyn Peninsula is good for walking. You can drive to the top, to Tre’r Ceiri hill fort or to Aberdaron.

The place has a wood burner, washing machine, dishwasher, wifi, and parking for two cars. Bedding and towels are included. We allow one dog. There's a cot and highchair if needed.
