Granary

Granary is a cottage in Clynnog fawr, up on the north coast of the Llyn Peninsula. It's a seven person place, three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 star rating, so it's comfortable and looked after.

The main thing is the view. The living room has these big arched windows that look right out to sea. You can sit and watch the weather come in. There's a wood burner for the evenings. The stairs are steep, like most places round here.

There's a good sized garden that's fully enclosed, so it's safe for kids and dogs. You can get two pets in. The garden gets the sun in the afternoon.

The beach is about a five minute walk down a track. It's not a huge sandy beach, more of a rocky cove, but it's quiet. For a proper sandy beach, Dinas Dinlle is a ten minute drive down the coast. It's a blue flag beach with a long stretch of sand.

You're well placed here. Caernarfon Castle is about fifteen minutes drive. It's a massive UNESCO site, good for a day out. National Trust Snowdonia and Llŷn has information on walks and places like Tre'r Ceiri. The mountains of Snowdonia are about half an hour's drive to the east.

The local pub, Yr Hen Llew, is in the village. It does food. There's a shop in the next village along for basics.

In terms of things to do, Porthdinllaen is about twenty minutes away. That's where the Ty Coch Inn is, the pub on the beach. Pwllheli and Criccieth are within twenty five minutes. Glasfryn Park, which has go-karting and activities, is about twenty minutes drive.

Facilities: it's got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking for two cars on the gravel outside. We provide a cot, highchair, and stairgate.
