The Granary
The Granary is in Llangaffo, a village on Anglesey. It's one of three converted farm buildings on the same bit of land. Sleeps four, two bedrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well looked after and has good facilities.
The layout is a bit different. You come in on the ground floor. There's a kitchen, a living room with a wood burner, and a sunroom we use as the dining area. There's also a utility room and a downstairs toilet.
Upstairs is all on one level, but the rooms connect. You go up to a landing, which has a desk. That leads into the twin bedroom. From there, you go through the main bathroom and a dressing area to get to the king-sized bedroom, which has its own ensuite shower. It works fine, just not a standard hallway layout.
Outside, you get your own enclosed garden. There's also a couple of acres of shared meadow and woodland right there, which is handy for letting the dogs run. Speaking of which, you can bring up to two dogs.
It's quiet here. The coast is about a ten minute drive. Newborough Beach and the forest are a big draw, maybe 15 minutes away. Beaumaris with the castle is about 20 minutes. Menai Bridge and the mainland are within half an hour.
Facilities: it has the things you'd expect. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking and an electric vehicle charger. There's a cot if you need it.
