Menai Lodge is in Caernarfon. It's a modern, detached lodge. You're on the edge of the town, near the A4086.
It sleeps five. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. One bedroom has a double bed, the other has a bunk bed. There's also a sofa bed in the living area. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well-equipped.
The layout is all open-plan downstairs. Kitchen, dining area, and living space in one room. There's a wood burner for cooler evenings. The shower room is modern.
Outside, there's a patio area with a hot tub and garden furniture. Parking is on-site.
We allow one well-behaved dog. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. You've got WiFi, a TV, a dishwasher, and a washing machine.
Caernarfon Castle is a ten-minute walk. It's a proper fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage site. You can spend a good few hours there.
For bigger days out, Snowdonia is right on your doorstep. The Snowdonia National Park starts just a few minutes' drive away. Llanberis and the footpaths up Snowdon itself are about a 20-minute drive. The Welsh Highland Railway station is in town.
Anglesey is over the bridge, maybe 15 minutes by car. There are good beaches over there, like Trearddur Bay. For a shorter trip with children, Gypsy Wood Park is about ten minutes up the road.
There's a golf course nearby. For wider planning, Visit Wales has good information for the area.
