The White Anchor is in Newborough, on Anglesey. It's one of a row of cottages. The front door opens straight onto the lane, but there's a good size private garden round the back for you. It's enclosed, which is handy.
The cottage has three bedrooms and sleeps six. There are three bathrooms, one of them is en suite to the main bedroom. It's a 5 Star place, which means it's got everything and it's all in good condition. It's spacious.
Downstairs, there's a big kitchen and dining area for everyone to be together. Then there's a separate living room with a wood burner. Upstairs, there's a second sitting room. That one's got a bar area and a games table. It's a good spot if people want to split up in the evening.
Newborough Beach is just down the road. It's a long, sandy beach with dunes and a forest behind it. You can walk out to Llanddwyn Island from there when the tide's out. It's a nice walk.
If you want to explore, Beaumaris with its castle is about half an hour's drive. South Stack cliffs and lighthouse are similar, maybe 40 minutes. For a rainy day, the Sea Zoo is about 25 minutes away. Menai Bridge is a nice stop for a coffee and a look at the strait.
Facilities: it's got parking for two cars, WiFi, all the bedding and towels, a washing machine, and a BBQ. You can bring up to two dogs. There's a local pub within walking distance.
