The West Wing At The Manor House

The West Wing is one half of the Manor House in Awre. It’s detached from the main house, so it’s private. You get a fair bit of space. The grounds are about seven acres, so there's plenty of room to wander.

It sleeps eight. There are four bedrooms and three bathrooms. One super king bedroom with its own shower is on the ground floor. The stairs are fine. You get a pool and a hot tub. They're yours to use.

The kitchen has what you need, including a dishwasher. There's a log burner in the lounge. The conservatory is a nice spot to sit. The whole place has a 5 Star rating, so it's well put together.

You can bring up to two dogs. There's parking on site. Bedding and towels are included.

The village is quiet. For a bigger shop or a meal out, you'd drive to Newnham-on-Severn or up to Gloucester. The Forest of Dean is on your doorstep for walking or cycling. You can be in Chepstow, on the edge of the Wye Valley, in about twenty minutes. The Severn Estuary is close by if you want to see the water.

The owners offer a fine dining service if you want to book a private chef for a special night. You have to arrange that through them directly.
