The Parlour

The Parlour is a converted barn on our farm in Arlingham. It's one of a few barns converted for letting, but you'd have your own space. The farm is still a working dairy farm, so you'll see and hear cows. That's just how it is.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It has a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped. Because it's a barn, the ceilings are high and the rooms feel quite spacious. It's all on one level.

There's a pub about a quarter of a mile away, through a woodland walk. They do food. Another good pub, known for seafood, is also walkable.

The farm sits in a big bend of the River Severn. We have about two miles of riverbank here, which you're welcome to walk along. There are some good spots for a picnic.

The village of Frampton-on-Severn is nearby, with its long village green. There's a shop and a couple of pubs there. The Gloucester and Sharpness Canal is good for flat walks, and there's a café in Saul where you can watch the boats.

If you want to go further, Slimbridge Wetland Centre is a short drive. Berkeley Castle is close. The Forest of Dean and the start of the Cotswolds are on your doorstep for walking. Cheltenham, Gloucester and Bristol are all within about half an hour.

Facilities wise: there's a woodburning stove, parking, WiFi, a washing machine and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. One well-behaved dog is allowed.
